Meet the Everett Team Behind DryMark Restoration Everett

Our Everett crew is the local face of DryMark Restoration Everett, independently owned and operated under The Haven Standard since 2011. We live in Snohomish County, not some dispatch center in another state. What ties us together is simple: every one of us has seen what happens when restoration work skips steps, and none of us will do that to a homeowner. We show up named, licensed, and uniformed, with a written price in hand before we start.

Our People

Alicia Brennan, Owner

I started DryMark Restoration Everett in 2011 after six years as a claims adjuster. I kept seeing the same problem: homeowners who did everything right still got shorted on their claims because the restoration company didn’t document the work properly. No photos, no moisture logs, no clear chain of evidence. I built this company to fix that gap. The Haven Standard came from those files, clause by clause. On-site, I still spot-check jobs personally, and I’ll flag a crew if their psychrometric readings don’t match the drying log. Off-site, I answer the 24-hour line myself when the queue backs up. The detail that still surprises me: how often a wall that looks dry to the eye reads 18% moisture on the meter, especially in Everett’s marine climate where everything dries slower than inland.

Marcus T., Lead Water Technician

Marcus has been with us eight years, starting as an apprentice after a stint in commercial HVAC. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and he’s the technician we send when a job requires tertiary drying, the final phase where we drop vapor pressure differentials to prevent secondary damage. Marcus specializes in Injectidry cavity drying systems, the hose-and-panel setup that pushes dry air into wall voids without tearing out finished surfaces. Homeowners in the Lowell neighborhood know him by sight; he’s done enough jobs along the Snohomish River flood zone that he can estimate soil saturation by the street address. His human detail: he keeps a fishing rod in his truck and will chat about silver salmon runs while his initial moisture readings stabilize.

Jenny K., Senior Mold Remediation Installer

Jenny holds our mold remediation certification through the IICRC and the RIA’s mold professional credential, and she’s the reason our containment setups pass third-party post-remediation verification on the first try. She came to us from asbestos abatement, so her containment standards are stricter than code requires. Jenny handles the jobs where mold has colonized behind Everett’s older cedar siding, common in pre-1980 homes around Riverside and Bayside. She documents every square foot of affected material with pre- and post-removal photos, tagged to the room and timestamp. The detail she’ll mention: she once found a colony of Stachybotrys growing behind a perfectly painted bathroom wall where the moisture reading was only 2% above baseline, and now she checks behind every fixture on every job.

David R., Service Coordinator

David runs our dispatch and customer communication from the Everett office, and he’s the live voice answering at 3 a.m. when a pipe bursts in Silver Lake. He’s been with us four years, previously in medical dispatch, which taught him to extract critical details fast while keeping a caller calm. David coordinates directly with insurance adjusters, sending our documented photo records and drying logs in the format each carrier prefers. He tracks every job’s equipment deployment, down to the serial number of each Dri-Eaz dehumidifier and Phoenix air mover, so our daily logs match the invoice line items. His detail: he keeps a whiteboard of ongoing jobs with homeowner first names only, and he updates it in real time so anyone walking past can see status without opening a file.

Tomas B., Restoration Apprentice

Tomas is in his second year with us, working toward his IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician certification. He started as a laborer on reconstruction jobs and asked enough questions about why we did things a certain way that Marcus recommended him for the apprenticeship track. Tomas now runs initial moisture mapping on water jobs, setting the sensor grid and recording baseline readings before the senior tech arrives. He’s learning to read vapor pressure differential, the measurement of how aggressively dry air will pull moisture from wet materials, and he’s already caught two jobs where the initial equipment load was undersized for the cubic footage. His detail: he lives in an apartment near Everett Community College, and he’s the one who points out when a homeowner’s damage might affect neighboring units, because he’s lived that.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard applies to every technician on every DryMark Restoration Everett job, whether it’s a single-room water loss on Everett Avenue or a full-structure rebuild after a winter storm in Mukilteo. Clause 1 means Marcus, Jenny, Tomas, and every other crew member deliver a written price before work starts, with no additions once we’re inside. Our documented photo record, included on every visit, is standard, not an upsell. The 365-Day Done Right Promise, stamped and signed on every job, is backed by Alicia’s direct involvement, not a corporate warranty department. Across the network, independently owned and operated teams share equipment protocols and documentation standards, but each location answers to its own community. In Everett, that means our crew knows which permits the city requires for reconstruction, how the marine layer affects drying timelines in Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven, and which insurance adjusters serving Snohomish County prefer daily moisture logs versus summary reports. The standard is national in scope. The people are local.
